Stress Reducing Techniques

I have fortunately happened upon a effectual self help anxiety technique. Its easy and best of all successful! Life is full of stress for this parent of a teen – actually if you look up stress in the dictionary I am sure you will see a picture of a teenager. So any healthy ways of relieving stress are hugely beneficial.

One of my favorite stress reducing techniques is getting centered. What is ‘getting centered’? That is for you to figure out. Everyone has their own individual way to do this. Some even have more than one. But let me tell you once you figure it out, you will be able to start using it at once.

Why do we have stress?

I believe that anxiety or stress comes from lives or parts of our lives that are out-of-control. It could be anything, money, children, lack of time freedom, and queasiness are a few of the main areas that can become out of whack. Our world is complicated and we are required to run at breakneck speed to keep up. And as far as I can see it here is no way to get past that. Even living alone on a desert island, knowing what we know now, would be worrying.

So how to we reduce our stress?

I do solemnly believe that stress cannot be actually reduce just handled. And the way I do this is to get centered.

Centering is what exactly?

Getting centered means figuring out something that you can do that will give you a sense of control in your life, even if it’s in a tiny way. It might not even be anything that needs controlling, but it has to be something you can control. So even if you can’t control any or all of the big things, if you can control something small, it can do wonders for your overall stress level.

How do you get centered?

Figure out something that’s relaxing or soothing for you, and that gives you a sense of accomplishment when you get done. I have a couple of things I do to get centered – the main one is to mow the lawn. Now I know, most guys my age can hardly wait for their kids to get old enough to hand that job over to them, but as far as I’m concerned, they’ll never learn how to do it! Believe me, they’re not too bummed – they don’t get centered the same way I do. Anyway, I just love the feeling and the satisfaction of seeing that a moment ago mowed and edged lawn, with hardly a blade of grass out of place. It gets me centered.

Like I said you can have more than one stress reducing way and I do. I love making the bed! Military tight corners, smooth sheets and blankets. And the spouse gets centered here too as it is one less chore on her list.

My wife’s method of how to prevent stress? To clean the sliding glass door. When she’s feeling out-of-control, she almost runs for the Windex and paper towels, and gets that baby so clean you could eat off of it. It’s her way of getting centered.

Every paper clip has its place!

A friend of ours, who actually told us in this area centering, shared a story in this area a head of a generous corporation who found his center by sorting paper clips. One of his co-workers one day stated that they did have people who they paid that could do that for him. The man just nodded and said this job is all mine!

That’s it! Told you it was simple. So the next time you can’t get a handle on things, figure out what you can do to get centered. And before you know it, you have your own ways of reducing stress.

The Power of Using Your Intuition To Attain Success In Life

Your inkling or your sixth sense is vitally important to your future success. Let us first define inkling. Inkling refers to the ability to sense or know at once without reasoning.” A good question that is often asked is how does a self improve their inkling? To resolution this question I will need your help. I want you to think of someone in your life who you consider to be highly intuitive. Most people who are highly intuitive have the capacity to observe details in this area their surroundings and details in this area who they are. Let’s call this hyper awareness.

When you talk to someone who is highly intuitive they tend to do more listening than talking. They observe everything you say and how you say it and more importantly what you did not say. By doing this and observing the environment in which the communication took place, they are able to read between the lines and sense more in this area you than you ever thought possible.

Inkling can also be applied to all aspects of life beyond communicating with others. Have you ever noticed that when you have a pressing challenge that occupies your mind for some time that somehow almost through thin air the right resolution comes to you? Often we call this a hunch or inspiration. What do you do when you experience a hunch or inspiration? Do you follow through and probe it or do you let it fall through your fingers like it never existed? Have you ever experienced getting the same hunch over and over again separated by long periods of time? When inspiration or a hunch comes to us, particularly repeatedly, this is a signal that we need to pay attention to.

Where do these hunches come from? To resolution this question I’ll need to involve a little bit of quantum physics. Don’t worry we will not go into too many esoteric details here.

Do you realize that you and everything almost us is made up of energy, space and matter? If you look at inanimate objects under a microscope you will see that they are made up of molecules, and every molecule is made up of atoms, and every atom is made up of electrons, neutrons, and protons. Each has a positive or unenthusiastic electrical charge and a whole lot of space. If you continue looking under the microscope you will see that these atoms are vibrating at a high speed of vibration.

If you do not believe me let us consider an ice cube. If we add energy in the form of heat to an ice cube we’ll get water. If we continue to add more heat energy to the water we will get steam. What has really changed here? At a molecular level nothing has changed, however, the ice has disappeared and has become steam in our atmosphere. What changed was the rate of vibration of the water atoms controlled in the ice. Now that we understand this critical principle, I think you will agree with me that everything almost us represents energy. If not, well, youll need to review your science textbooks.

If everything almost us represents energy then the thoughts we have also represent energy. Correspondingly, since energy cannot be created or destroyed and it can only change its form based on the laws of thermodynamics then it is quite possible that we can pick up the energy of others and we can transmit energy to others. This has often been called telepathy. A short example is to think in this area people you know and have met that you got a bad vibe from. Nothing may have been said but you just knew that, that self was trouble.

If we acknowledge that it is possible to hear energy from others we must also entertain the idea that it is possible to hear energy from a source outside of human thought. Energy flows to and through us. In very much the same way that an acorn can grow into a generous oak tree, you and I can take the energy that flows to and through us to take ideas in our conscious and hidden minds and convert thought energy into its physical equivalent. The process of recognizing the energy that flows to and through us is what our inkling is all in this area.

If you want to become more intuitive you have to become hyperaware of who you cooperate with and your surroundings. You have to get in tune with reading vibrations so that you can act on your gut feelings and hunches. Your success depends on grabbing those ideas and little flashes of inkling and putting them into action in your life.

Use Your Six Intellectual Factors To Acheive Anything In Life

Did you know that all of mankind’s greatest achievements can be summarized by six intellectual factors. If used correctly can make the difference between living a life full of abundance or misery?

Did you know that at the age of retirement, according to the Social Security Administration, 96% of people are dead, broke, or still working? Did you know that only 3% are well-to-do and 1% are truly rich in a financial sense? I believe that this is 100% related to mindset. The top 4% who hold and control over 96% of the wealth must think differently. In short they use their mind differently than the 96% of the populace who get very different results. This article is going to reveal to you how very successful people make consistent quantum leaps in their life by using their intellectual factors. Here are the six intellectual factors that contribute to the right mindset for success:

Reason: Within the conscious part of our mind we have the ability to reason and logically process information based on the data we perceive almost us through our five senses. Our five senses include: sight, smell, taste, examination, and touch. The vast margin of people do not effectively use the intellectual factor of reason. They follow some programming or routine ways of being where every day is a repeat experience of the day that has passed. To set hurdles matters, the average self watches many hours of television each day. Watching television causes the viewer to move into a trance like state where thinking and reason is suspended. This even applies to watching educational programs. Thinking is a volitional process, meaning that the individual must choose to think and set time aside to see how they can better their life and form a settled plan to move in a positive direction. If no time is spent truly thinking, is it a bolt from the blue that the future is a repeat experience of the past? How much time do you spend truly thinking in this area what you want and how you can get it?

Imagination: We can create pictures on the screen of our mind of anything we want to have, to do or to become. Do you remember when you were a child how rich and plain your imagination was? Do you remember the level of enjoyment you had imagining the places you would go, the things you would have, and who you would become? Why is it that as we age our ability to use our imagination to continue to get what we want diminishes? Do you realize that through the traditional educational logic our imagination and creativity is suppressed? One of the keys to moving forward is to know exactly what we want in all aspects of our life. When we know what we want we can see a picture of it in our mind. Do you know what you want? Many people I ask this question to have no idea what they really want and correspondingly are not on the road to get it Inkling: This intellectual factor requires you to use your instincts to take action that leads to a positive result. Our inkling is directly related to how attentive are we are in this area who we are and our surroundings. The very attentive individual is able to pick up slight nuances in behavior exhibited by the people almost them. From this heightened sense of awareness, they are able to respond in a way that leads to optimum results. In various self-development programs, inkling is likened to be our connection to infinite acumen, God or of the many thousands of names used throughout the world. Whether you believe in an intelligent source of knowledge or not is not relevant to your ability to use your inkling. If you want to become more intuitive, you have to learn how to calm your mind and to become an incredible listener. Only through calming your mind and really listening, can you build awareness of what it is you need to do to move forward in life. When you experience a hunch or a flash of inspiration, this is your inkling talking to you. These flashes of inspiration may come often or very seldom. In the beginning as you involve your inkling these flashes of inspiration will be far apart. As you get used to using your inkling and taking action on the inspiration that comes to you, you will benefit from this intellectual factor more often.

Perception: The way you view the world has to do with your perception. You are free to perceive the world in any way you want but you are not free from the benefits or the consequences of your perception. For example, if you believe that you can fly unaided by any mechanical devices and you jump off a tall building you will soon learn that you perceived the world incorrectly. This may seem like an evident example but ask yourself why do many people perceive the world as an evil place in which prospering in life is impossible? Is it any bolt from the blue that the people who are succeeding in life have a perception that life is full of abundance and opportunity for the able and capable individual? Do you perceive the world half-full or half-empty? Are you commonly a very happy individual who is optimistic for what today will bring or are you pessimistic as you drag yourself out of bed throughout the day, as if living represents a terrible chore? Your perception of the world and your life is completely in your control. The most successful people on the planet understand this intellectual factor and irrespective of the challenges they face, always seem to look for the silver lining. Are you this self? Do you want to be this self? If so what are you set to do to evolve this intellectual factor?

Memory: How many times have you admitted that you do not have a good memory? Have you ever told somebody that you’re good at remembering faces but cannot seem to remember names? Do you realize that you have a perfect memory? Perhaps all that is necessary is for you to train your memory to allow you to recall information more efficiently? In today’s world, here are individuals with so called incredible memory. They are able to remember all of the details controlled within a generous book, they can remember the many places and people may have met throughout their whole life. Are these individuals better then others? The resolution is no ” they have only trained themselves to use their memory and based on schooling this intellectual factor (very much like schooling a muscle in the body) it has grown strong and serves them greatly. In future articles will discuss how you can improve your memory.

The Will: When you start a project how likely are you to finish the project? When you form your New Year’s resolutions do you stab to them? Do you allow the attitude of others and life’s circumstances to derail you from what it is that you want? When you sit down to work on your project does your mind wander and think in this area other things? Your will is one of the most important factors that will decide everything in this area who you become and what you have in life. Individuals who have a highly evolved will have capacity to focus on a single topic long enough to ensure its completion. Once a project is complete they are able to focus on the next project or task at hand and complete it. This is how they move very rapidly through life.

Do You Really Use Your Imagination To Get What You Want In Life?

We are able to create pictures on the screen of our mind of anything we want to have, do or become. Do you remember when you were a child how rich and plain your imagination was? Do you remember the level of enjoyment you had imagining the places you would go, the things you would have and who you would become? Why is it that as we age our ability to use our imagination to continue to get what we want diminishes? Is it a lack of imagination or simply a lack of effectual use of our imagination?

One of the greatest gifts that we have an as human beings is our imagination. When was the last time you thought in this area how you use this incredible gift? Do you realize that imagination is one our intellectual factors which governs everything we have and who we become in life? Human beings are the only creatures on Earth that have the capacity to hold an image on the screen of their mind until it is realized in the physical world. Everything on earth was created twice. The car you drive in and the house that you sleep in was first envisioned in the mind of a designer or an architect. Artists hear songs or see mental images of the picture they want to paint in their mind before they ever write a single note or lift their paint brush. Things are created once in the mind and second in the physical world.

Do you remember when you were a child how plain your imagination was? What changed as you grew up? Anyone who has ever watched an infant for some time and experimental how they view the world cannot help but be impressed. We are attracted to babies based on their purity, sense of wonder and the level of joy that they express wherever they are. Somehow as we grow we change because of societal pressure and abandon some of the characteristics we once exhibited as a child. One of the primary skills that we somehow loose in the mix is the use of our valuable imagination.

Through traditional educational systems our imagination and creativity is suppressed and stilted. One key to moving forward to achieve your goals is to know exactly what you want in all aspects of your life. When we really know what we want we should be able to see a picture of the desire in our mind. Do you know what you want? Many people I ask this question to have no idea what they really, really want and unfortunately are no where near achieving even basic or simple goals.

Our imagination has led to the development of many incredible things. Think of all the modern devices you use every day and cannot live without. Your cell phone, computer or even that airplane you used on your last vacation. Without imagination none of these inventions would have been possible. Let me ask you an important question: over the last six months how many really exciting ideas have you thought in this area? Have they been based on what you really want or what you think you could get?

If you thought of different ideas think in this area this next question: what did you do to capture these ideas for future use? Do you write these ideas down? Do you make a picture of what you envisioned? If you wrote down your ideas, resolution my next question. Would this idea make a positive difference in your life? Is the idea you imagined on purpose with what you want in your life?

If you have answered Yes to all these questions you have a clear understanding of your settled chief aim as Napoleon Hill would say. If you have got this far I would like to congratulate you. The fact you have a clear picture of where you want to be in your life and that you have a settled chief aim, puts you in the top 4% of the populace. The most important question is what have you done in this area your ideas? Did you form a clear plan of action and have you been working your plan with persistence and determination?

In this article I have asked you many questions to try to really make you think. I hope you see that your imagination is one of the starting points for unfoldment of who and what you become in life. Your imagination is the path to achievement and will dictate everything take in the future including your health, wealth, quality relationships and success. Is Your Mind Set Up For Failure Or Success?

Your thoughts can sabotage your efforts even if you dont intend them to. What you think habitually will influence your life more than any other condition or condition almost you. The words you use and the things you devote your attention to determine if you are thinking success or failure oriented thoughts.

Pay Attention To Your Thinking

Are you an optimist or a pessimist? The resolution to this inquiry will hold much of the success that you achieve in your world. An optimist is able to see solutions to problems. They do not ignore the bad in situations, they embrace it and choose to work almost it. That simple mindset opens up doors. By trying to think of how can I make this work instead of its hopeless, opportunities open up. An optimist will see ways to fix a problem that a pessimist never will.

Pessimists on the other hand live in doom and gloom. Their minds are so fogged with negativity that they can only focus on themselves and how terrible things are. They completely miss chances that are right in front of them because they are caught up in whining and feeling sorry for themselves. Complaining solves nothing. It only makes a situation worse. When you find yourself complaining I want you to pinch yourself hard and think of something positive. This goes for everything in your world. If you are thinking negatively in this area another self, situation or condition you need to reframe the issue. If you start out unenthusiastic you will only see the bad aspects of the issue and your world will never change.

If you however focus on the good you will change your entire point of reference. Everything has two parts or sides. If something is a little bad it must be a little good. If it is horrible then here must be something in this area it that is fantastic. I recently had a friend who was laid off. At first she was upset and then she was unbelievably excited. She got a great severance package and has since started her own business. In the middle of something unenthusiastic a positive was found and she is much happier than before.

I challenge you to find the good in situations. This is not always an easy task. If you are having trouble doing this mind a few movies on Rwanda and you will quickly see that your life is practically perfect and the things you have to worry in this area are nothing compared to what is experience in other parts of the world.

Pay Attention To Your Vocabulary

Your vocabulary also colors the way you think. If you get home from work and say that your day was hard, you are likely to have more of those days in the future. Anytime the circumstances of the day match up with the hard day, you will feel tired and not very happy in this area your day. Simply changing how you word statements like this will make a big difference. Say something like I was very productive today and I got a lot accomplished. At first you will feel like you are kidding yourself but over time this will change your perspective and will result in better and better days. I no longer complain in this area being tired or that I was really busy. I rest and then get right back to doing the things I like to do.

If you are using unenthusiastic language it will affect how you think, plain and simple. Your words matter whether you want them to or not. By paying attention to the words you use and the thoughts you think you will move yourself into a success mindset. Ask yourself each time you have a thought or you say something: Does that resonate with my vision of what I want to create in my life? If it doesnt change it right away. Thinking negatively is just a bad habit that can be changed. Success comes from building up a series of habits that support you and push you forward to your goal.

Leave Everyone With An Impression Of Increase And Achieve Results

Leaving people with an depression of increase means that when you finish an interaction with another self, that self feels like you have contributed positively to their life. This concept is so simple and elementary yet many of us fail to do it.

To truly live this way you need to apply it in every aspect of your life: from the self who cuts you off in traffic to the people you kiss goodnight. Frankly in the bundle and bustle of everyday life this isn’t easy. Its much simpler to react and say something unkind than to pause and think in this area how you can help or improve the other self’s life for the better.

But when we stop, pause and think in this area how our interactions will affect another self, we can truly put this principle into action in our lives. This simple thought process can cause a dramatic change in your life and in your everyday dealings with others.

The most important time to apply this is when you are in a difficult situation or a highly emotional one. This is also the time when it will be the hardest to think in this area how to improve that other self’s life. Sometimes the smallest actions like smiling or simply saying thank you will improve a situation for the better.

We all know people who make us feel warm and happy to see them. They seem to naturally exude a spirit which draws people to them and makes others feel at ease. That easy interaction comes from the same thought process as leaving others with an depression of increase. With these individuals however, this is the way they live and they do not have to consciously think in this area their actions, it is ingrained in their being.

When we apply this principle to our business lives it makes a world of difference. We have all gone into a store and had a salesperson be rude to us and then vowed to never go back to that store again. Our decision was based solely on the actions of one individual. Not on the quality of merchandise, or how much we liked the store, just on that one self.

Conversely we have been in stores where we are treated like royalty and they capture our repeat business over and over again. The actions of a few people determine the nature of our thoughts in this area whether we will continue to do business with that entity or not.

By schooling your employees or yourself to make sure that each self you do business with feels like you have contributed positively to their life you will increase your business exponentially. Your customers and co-workers will become walking billboards on your behalf.
