Self Improvement: Getting to Know Your Fears
Fears can squash chances for any sort of development and for success. Fear in itself can be a hindrance and can cripple a self’s ability to pass through life so sometimes, when an individual’s fear can influence their life and become devoid of reason. Anyone that gives into fear may be stopped from leading a normal existence. Unfortunately the self who fears is not the only one who experiences the affects but also their family tree, friends, and the people almost him.
Fear is healthy because it makes a self see what of what is experience almost him. A self can actually compel their fear to work for them instead of against them however this takes much self control and some positive thinking. Fear can be caused by something that happened previously or by a belief that they’re unable to deal with something. Some fears that have a basis in reality but most are simply the product of a wild imagination.
A phobia is the term used for a fear of something, but such fear can be painstaking irrational so a phobia can be ridiculous and exaggerated such as a fear of cats, or even water. Some people who have developed phobia are attentive that it isn’t based with rational thinking however, they’re incapable of controlling their emotions and move past these feelings.
Here are those who are too quick to group a phobia with insanity however it’s not fair to believe that just because here IS a phobia it is any indication of insanity. A self’s phobia can result in embarrassment especially when they are not able to control it and here are many who will hide when confronted with them.
Phobias can be simple like the simple fear of being in an enclosed area, or complex like that of riding in an airplane, but a social phobia can be in the fear of public speaking or the presence of a crowd. Many phobias are evident by the presence of panic attacks such as when a self is faced with their phobia and where they are forced to come face-to-face with it. It’s perfectly normal to fear because rationality involves fear but fear that has no basis in reality and is already irrational is a phobia. It’s not normal anymore and can interrupt a self’s lifestyle.
A self who wants to get rid of their phobia should not turn to doctors who dig deeper to find the first cause and this may be a waste because finding the underlying cause of the phobia will not cause it to go away. What is a lot more critical is to be determined and strong-willed so that fears so that your fears will no longer affect emotions. If a self can learn how to control their emotions then they may be truly free of their fears.
